   One question I've got about #UKpol is: what would it have taken for queen Lizzie to just go "nope, you're a tosser, won't confirm you" to one of the decidedly unfit PM prospects the Tories managed to let float to the top (similar to that saying about cream, but more of the sewer floater version)?
   Just wondering cause I've seen the current situation blamed on absolutely everyone except her.

     @Mabande She's got the power in theory, but in practise she gets to stay above it all by not exercising it.
