shifted downwards,
earth like stairs
crawl up the hill
one rock at a time
moving forwards
the sounds hidden in shade
a corvids sweet serenade

warnings for futures past
hardened memories
faded as weakness takes hold
time moves on going fast
filled up infirmaries
we are gone

jutting out the disorder
it falls down - scattered dominoes
the luck of a hoarder
who got to suffer the least
cleaved through their fleece

a lamb
