     In which he describes some occasion where he was forced to sit naked as a model... And afterwards says, that the neighbour who all this was about "Apparently he had been banished to (then) Ceylon from postwar Britain rather than face prison for being a pederast."

     Wouldn't we know about Clarke being banished from britain?
