@BigTony Maybe to you it is. And that is fine. But to me they are killing people that are already going extinct under the guise of "Denazifaction". But I don't even have the energy to argue about this. But I bet I'm going to get a muh Donetsk children muh Donbas muh Russian speakers response. If not sorry if that sounds rude
@Remi@ColdOnesLite@Turkleton@bobbala@BigTony it weird... isnt it. asking for a day off is how the media framed it. a bit more complicated but let's go with what they said ... then Joe said get back to work and the media never mentioned it again. that's a hell of an example of how the elites hate the working class.
It's kinda strange how someone can be arrested for refusing to work. Last I checked slavery was outlawed in the 1860, but I guess NLRA is superior to the constitution. 🤷♂️
@Turkleton@VIcFury@bobbala@BigTony Friend of a friend worked for the railroad for several years but quit due to the insane hours, I think it's pretty hard work.
@ColdOnesLite@Turkleton@VIcFury@bobbala@BigTony Remember when railroad worker rights were all over the news because they were demanding just a single day off and the government intervened and decided AGAINST the workers and told them to get back to work or face criminal charges and then it just disappeared from the news entirely
@VIcFury@ColdOnesLite@bobbala@BigTony Working for the railroad was something i wanted to do when I was small. You make good money and get to see cool parts of America.
If the market were free, you could say no with your money. Like no, we're not sending F-16 to Ukraine. Lockheed like sending planes around the world. Nancy agrees.
@bobbala@BigTony@Turkleton she's being forced to sell us at a discount by globohomocorp. It's not like she want's to... it's just how the free-market works.
@bobbala@BigTony@Turkleton Yes, this was Karl Marx's point in Das Kapital. We'll have unlimited ability to sell shoddy product to the unsuspecting proletariat for twice the price.
When we stop subsidizing failure. When hiring and firing aren't subject to the state. When the fed loses it's legally mandated and state enforced monopoly on banking & credit ....
We'll still be a long way from calling the US a free market.
@bobbala@BigTony@Turkleton then we're not sending the right messages on who's the problem to those who matter. Bad times needs a scapegoat to beat on. Your opposition is preparing the coloreds to beat on you.
There's a lot more profit in Marxism. Under capitalism, you have to meet customer demand. Price and quality matter.
Marxism is like our public schools. The more they fail, it's because you are too stingy. The customers don't pay for anything. Therefore the budget can be the moon!
Diversity is critical to profit! The bill is Whitepeopleproblem.
People will probably just go hungry. Railroads will end services in places. Brown outs. New normal. Brazil. Private security. Corruption. Bribery. Disease. Lowered life expectantly. Abandoning public education.
@bobbala@BigTony I respectfully disagree. If someone invaded my land and killed my family the last thing I would do is surrender. Especially to Russian army. Maybe I would die but I would die knowing i died for something that was mine. Just my opinion.
One of my favorite cases is a california case that says that the state can put a dead beat parent in jail for refusing to work under a find work order.
The whole country would have been screwed by a railroad strike. It would be bad. Railroad workers are not readily available as replacements like the air traffic controllers were in the 80s. Not that they are unskilled. They had the military in reserve. Not that that is right.
