     I am a trans woman in one of the most pro-Trump states in the US. I can't afford to relocate to a safer state. I am not considering my survival odds to be very good. If I don't make it, my daughter will get three life insurance policy payouts and my retirement savings. Hopefully it will be enough for her to escape and start a new life.

     I call this Dark Pragmatism.
