@az It wasn't terrible, but they moved production from Vancouver to LA and everything got a lot more cliche. Over half the episodes featured the same reality-jumping baddies and a bunch of scenes in those Star Trek desert bluffs.

Mike McCaffrey (mikemccaffrey@wandering.shop)'s status on Monday, 01-Jul-2024 20:23:10 JST Mike McCaffrey I will admit that the first two seasons of Sliders are really the charming ones, before the pivot to try to make the show more dramatic for a general audience.
I must say that if I could wish to get a modern reboot of a classic show, this would be at the top of the list.

Mike McCaffrey (mikemccaffrey@wandering.shop)'s status on Monday, 01-Jul-2024 20:23:11 JST Mike McCaffrey I'm sorry, but you can't say #Sliders aged poorly just because there have been a couple of really good #multiverse stories since, especially since none of them have been episodic shows that take time to explore the implications of each alternate reality.
