This is a pretty clear-eyed explainer of what SCOTUS just did and why I'm saying they're seizing more and more power for federal courts at the expense of regulatory bodies and yes, elected officials... power that will undoubtedly be exercised on behalf of corporations, reactionaries and anyone rich enough to buy Clarence Thomas' loyalty with private jet trips.

Sad. And likely to continue like this on and on unless there is a majority that would be able to put in proper legislation to override each and every SCOTUS decision, yet I don't see *that* coming together.
