It seriously looks like the plan on the 2025 document to consolidate power into one party is taking place early..... Things are not looking good.

Supreme Court delivers blow to power of federal agencies, overturning 40-year-old precedent

The important 1984 precedent gave federal bureaucrats flexibility to interpret the law when the language is unclear.

"The Administrative Procedure Act requires courts to exercise their independent judgment in deciding whether an agency has acted within its statutory authority, and courts may not defer to an agency interpretation of the law simply because a statute is ambiguous; Chevron is overruled." -- Roberts

This is the biggest judicial power grab in American history since Marbury v. Madison.

A bombshell (if predictable) ruling, and a really huge conservative win that'll kneecap administrative agencies very significantly:

"Perhaps most fundamentally, Chevron’s presumption is misguided because agencies have no special competence in resolving statutory ambiguities. Courts do." -- this guy is saying that EXPERTS don't have any special competence to know how to apply the law, but judges do.

There are young people who are not going to vote and say that "both parties on the same" when literally one party just said that the EPA cannot regulate unless 6 Jesus-y people on the Supreme Court agree.

Conservatives have now completed their generational goals of overturning Abortion, Affirmative Action, and Chevron.

@GottaLaff: This is the core of the GOP's power grab. They don't want experts getting in the way of their ideological push, which puts every single one of us in grave danger. This is huge, and destructive.
