- Rain delay
- England winning toss and choosing to bowl
- Not having Moeen Ali bowl on friendly track
- Conceding par or more runs to India despite two early wickets
- Having to bat on the same pitch as India
- Not having their batting rhythm broken by rain interruption
- Two run-outs of their own
- Spicy food
