I just wish we could use terms with specific and clear meanings, instead of “AI”.

A weird downside of the vagueness of the term is if I criticize the application of LLMs or image synthesis models, people can say “That’s not all of AI!” without ever describing another specific technology.

But people are free to praise “AI” in the broadest terms, and there’s nothing specific to disagree with.
