"Unused RAM is wasted RAM!" A gui developer says, while making their program run Electron, with 5 others that run Electron.

"Unused RAM is wasted RAM!" A web dev says, making their website take a full 45 seconds to load Javascript when HTML and CSS could do the exact same in fewer lines of code and less dependency on other code bases.

"Unused RAM is wasted RAM!" a Windows dev says while making new programs to snoop on paying customers.

Shit like this is why computers being sold with 16 GB of RAM isn't enough in 2024. If these devs just *used their fucking brains* we wouldn't need to toss out our phones each time a website autoplays an ad.
