Watching the news this morning, NBC4 Washington reported that Kristi Noem was being seriously considered as Donald Trump's running mate.

My wife asked me "Who's Kristi Noem?"

I answered, "She's the insane woman who bragged about killing a puppy because she couldn't train it."

My wife asked me to turn off the TV, and wondered aloud if our next White House incumbents will be utterly insane.
