   I finished the first season of #StarTrek #TNG. Given how people talk about the first 3 seasons I was expecting something pretty rough but it was good aside from some wooden acting from actors I know are more talented than that.
   Is the whole show that horny or is it because Gene Roddenberry was alive at that point?

     No it stays horny. Also, yeah season one was more akin to Twilight Zone, I think. It really finds its groove a few seasons in.
