The problem with "getting your hands dirty" is that you're positively not prepared to take it through to it's logical conclusion. Shooting a burglar in self-defense works as long as burglars are rare and generally on the run from police. You shoot a burglar in a place where burglars are able to operate openly, their gang comes back and murders your family.
If you ARE prepared to take it to it's logical conclusion, you're not really a normal person, you're more like <picture>.
If you want to be a normal human being, you want to live in a place where you will not meet a violent criminal and that's that. BUT, people who live in soft conditions become soft, and they end up voting for soft politicians who make soft decisions which lead to actual hard times, this is an unsolved problem.
@deavmi@cjd the problem I find with nice people is their unwillingness to get their hands dirty with the baddies. This is why we can't have nice things.
You're not the first one to have that idea, but it's not RIGHT. Trashing public infrastructure is apish behavior even if that infrastructure is painted with the flag of the establishment.
@cjd@deavmi@pyrate@MidnightRider took me a minute to tell which post it was linking to cuz copebox doesn't even have the courtesy to change the highlighted post background to another color by default yea i cant be assed to figure out how mkultra is relevant here
