   On this day 1 year ago, I landed back on United States soil after 7 years in Croatia.
   It was an emotional homecoming.

   I could fill volumes about the entire experience. All the adventures, the triumphs, the losses, the lessons, but instead I feel like saying this: I'm grateful to be where I am, and happy to be who I am.
