     #WritersCoffeeClub 6/21: Can one use arcane verbiage in one's prose, or must one's saga embody only elementary text?

     Elementary text is for learners—children, adults acquiring the language, and so on.

     Eschewing prolixity and abjuring arcana in one's own oeuvre is the literary equivalent of subsisting on gruel and insisting that grey pyjamas are the only acceptable attire for any and all occasions.
