     @leyonhjelm @RealRaul @suquili Bro-sis is almost the ONLY remaining relationship impediment. You can't make a story where two kids are pressured not to be together because there aren't any societal bonds left that aren't already destroyed.

     Catholic/protestant? White/Black? Town rivals? Feuding clans? All have been defanged so it seems dumb they wouldn't just be together, the last impediment is "you can't bang your sister, dennis"

     I like manga where step siblings are in love because that element is usually the only potentially taboo part of the relationship. If I ignore that it’s pretty wholesome and they’re not blood.
     
     Even better though are childhood betrothals that the family wants to end but they refuse. I love the main relationship in Ai Yori Aoshi but find the forced harem part annoying.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @RealRaul It's so true the part that they don't actually care about the incest, it's about the warmth and trust of a relationship with someone whom you've known for basically your whole life. It's sad. I wish I could've dated and married the girl that lived next to me growing up.
