@noam yea it sucks for everyone, but must be frustrating for U as most assume you'd share the same worldview just because U live in the same region.
The whole anti-china in fandom thing is often felt by Chinese folks. Non-Chinese folks are often oblivious and when we point it out they always argue that they have the right to criticise China, mostly due to their warped belief that China is like Mordor on Earth 🤷

Also thanks for the link! I grew up in Israel but have lived in the UK for over 20 years. The UK's wholesale adoption of American culture wars is something I have regular rants about.
