Fshiz. Played with the RISC-V much so far?
Oh, also, I keep saying "The animation for the histogram thing is cool" and it never occurred to me to just use termrec so I could show it. histogram.ttyrec
@p@blockbot@kirby@85f02109a28864e4713d3f972ab66a Yea, i want to use my dev term as a small laptop replacement. I do need to boot a image to make fully sure the cm4 works though. It turns on thou so it should be fine.

That's weird, what was busted?
Before I accidentally did some percussive maintenance on this Thinkpad, it had Slackware on it, and everything worked. Even the pressure-sensitivity on the built-in tablet, like *everything* worked.

Ah! Yeah, stuff like that, audio latency/quality is really important.
@gnarley_boot@85f02109a28864e4713d3f972ab66a@blockbot@kirby Oh, the audio latency is kinda bad for drawterm, like geigerstats is fun but if I run it, everything starts to lag, and 99% of my use is over drawterm. I did just put recent-ish 9front onto my Thinkpad, but I only ever use the DevTerm, which doesn't run Plan 9 (yet).
You be so ashamed of me but I have stupid Windows 10 installed on my Thinkpad, but it actually does well, not even Debian worked good on that machine. The audio is amazing, and I can get near perfect Amiga emulation on it with WinUAE (which I don't use for gaming but tracker software). Plus battery life is epic compared to the past with BSDs and Linux. I have a spare drive on it, I might put a *nix on there don't know.
