I'd forgotten that it was one of my shows today on @hpr so I was surprised to hear my own voice when the show started 😂
If you wish to hear me talking about the Picade console then the link is https://hackerpublicradio.org/eps/hpr4141/index.html

@j how did you think I'd sound??? (given I'm from the NW of Scotland 😂)
@kevie You don't sound anything like I thought.
@j you need to listen to more episodes of TuxJam to get used to my accent 😉😂
@j but thank you for listening to the episode 👍🏻
@j no, I'm well north of the border
@kevie Ah, I thought so, after listening. I'd always thought you were English, for some reason.
@stardot @hpr I've got another episode to release on a retro gaming Pi setup that I've did, I'm also trying to get my son to talk about it (given he "borrowed" it after I finished and I've not had it back)
@j please, there is no need to apologise; I'm not offended.
The standard response to I'm from Scotland is "I know somebody in Aberdeen/Glasgow/Edinburgh, you probably know them." Errrr not likely given those are the opposite sides of the country
@kevie Yes. Just a bit. 😂
Thanks for correcting me, though. Not sure why I thought you were English. :butt:
Maybe people tend to think UK means England..I was born in New York State, but when I tell people I'm from NY, they always think New York City. I say, "No there's actually a whole freaking state outside NYC, oddly enough."
Anyway, apologies for assuming.
