   anyone have any opinions about #keydb and #valkey? i was about to start a project with the former when i learned about the latter. i really like #redis and am looking into replacements.

     @hobbsc I was leaning towards keydb before I heard that valkey was a direct inheritor. I don’t know what the right move is here. Except that it’s not redis anymore

     @ironchamber i'm probably gonna go keydb for the multithreading for premature over engineering but i'll consider valkey if there aren't weird community/licensing issues that'll cause further splits later on. why do people ruin software?
