   As a color blind person I've always felt that multispectral visualizations of a linear variable were confusing. It seems much more clear to present a single color and vary it in lightness.

   This one in particular seems strange. The bottom end of the axis goes to -60F, a value not represented in the image.

     Holyshit, I knew there was a heatwave in the east, but 95+ for the entire northeast into the Midwest is absolutely bonkers.
