   I attended a meetup yesterday and it raised the question what I’d like to do in the next years and I’m not able to give an answer. I like the idea of diving into a new area of software development, like backend/fullstack-ish (with Go or Elixir). But I also like the idea of having my current salary and a comfortable life.

   Usually these thoughts are a sign that I need to go on vacation.

     Now with Apple going in on this AI-bullshit, I feel tempted to go back to the PowerBook G4 and the 2008 Macbook as they're are 100% AI-free (this will be the new "organic”, mark my words!)

     Or finally switch careers and give Elixir its yearly shot.
