   If everyone just mutes boosts, why don't we just disable it altogether? Together we can turn this place back into a no-engagement hellhole just like Twitter but without the Nazis!

     boosts are the most important function here imo but some do it too much. IDK

     @BeAware I don't see the point in muting boosts, I personally boost content I think should be given more awareness, or some really funny memes.

     There's some smaller instances and people that have some very important things that need to be said. And like you said it helps engagement

     @BeAware I suppress duplicate boosts but I definitely don't mute them. Boosts are awesome! They are the “algorithm" in many ways and how you discover more things to follow. MOAR BOOSTS!
