   @AnarchoNinaWrites IMHO the only thing they care about is $$$ - same as the last 40+ years.

   Anyone who thinks they've changed in any way since then ("they support you running Linux software!") either has their head up their ass, are a starry-eyed VSCode user, or both.

   Recall was going to cost them $ale$ so they changed their tune.

     Lol, so woke up today to Microsoft bowing, scraping and mewling about having let us all down in terms of "security" and for one brief ass moment I'm like, "holy shit, so literally EVERY end user telling them "this sucks, I didn't ask for it, and it's dangerous" actually worked? I thought we were far enough into the monopoly phase that they just didn't care..."

     Then I hear about the Solar Winds info dump. You can fuck with customers, but fucking over the US government and its spies is bad biz.
