   @ageha @shibao if it was just a smart card we wouldn't need to do all this, you'd just stick your card in a slot on your PC and it would work with no extra info

     @sun the german id has nfc and can technically verify date of birth and other information but I have never seen it used anywhere and instead everyone still just asks for a photo of it.
