   Beans: Boots N Cats

   Australian rock band featuring the drummer from the Murlocs. Little dose of psych, little dose of prog, little dose of groove, some of the catchiest riffs imaginable. I have a hard time believing anyone would not love this record, one of my favorites of the year so far. Enjoy!

     Simon Hanes: Tsons of Tsunami

     Thank goodness Tzadik releases are available to stream so now everyone has access to wildly creative music like this. Hanes is a sonic polymath, at times making the heaviest shit imaginable, others thoughtfully melodic. This is a little bit of both, but with lots of great vibraphone. Something different for ya, but trust me, quite good. Enjoy!
