Pleroma-tan (kirby@lab.nyanide.com)'s status on Thursday, 13-Jun-2024 19:32:56 JST Pleroma-tan @xenia it's actually also just a text buffer. Don't worry you can simply write the command back on the bar and it will still work as normal. You know the basics of how to use acme right? -

Pleroma-tan (kirby@lab.nyanide.com)'s status on Thursday, 13-Jun-2024 19:39:48 JST Pleroma-tan @xenia It works a lot of the plan 9 ecosystem does so you are going to be using the mouse a lot. Middle click to do command, right click to search (in the file manager right click goes to a new directory/file in a new window), and left click to select and all the other left clicky things.
The process of saving a new file is rather unintuitive, you have to write the entire file path on the beginning of the commands bar on your window, then "Put" will appear. Just middle click that and the file will be saved. Put also works in existing files once you've made changes to a file.
Russ Cox has a pretty good video on acme. https://youtube.com/watch?v=dP1xVpMPn8M
