     something makes me feel like i've stagnated as a mathematician and a programmer. i no longer solve problems on paper. i don't write as much code as i used to. the code that i do write - i usually solve new problems and is rarely difficult in the engineering perspective.
     this makes me worried. i have noticed that my problem solving ability has gone down very significantly.
