   How about that. Given in the last 2 and a half years big tech has laid off over 500,000 staff and is not hiring this is only going to get worse, or better, whatever

     Tech is at another bottleneck, like it was in the late 90s. AI and smart devices aren't going to save it.

     AI is supposed to replace Crypto as the startup bait but the high interest rates are not giving Wall Street enough incentive to try and drive growth by speculation

     Right now I'm dealing with my isp trying to phase put analog phones and make everyone use voip smart phone. Ugh.
     
     I don't need more features. I've gone in the opposite direction. I use ncurses based application where possible. I rarely use over 500mb of memory except when I'm running a browser. My life is so much easier without a bunch of gui / touch screens in my face 24/7.
