@BlinkRape@s8n from what i can tell he is basically abusing complex numbers as an optimization trick where complex multiplication is equivalent to a phase shift, thus escaping calling sin all the time.
the trick also produces a rotated copy of it at the same time, which he just splits off to make stereo signals with.
i have no idea what the hell "the sum disappears" means, unless something funny happens when you expand the sum operator and simplify
@BlinkRape@s8n he has runnable synths but i noticed he resorted to vector synth/crossfading. the carrier/modulator aren't modulated like they are in FM
