   @trechnex oh, that's so sad. Travellers from colder regions have often misestimated heat conditions around the Mediterranean but the changing climate is making conditions even more potentially deadly, especially around midday.

     Condolences to Dr Michael Moseley’s family.

     I suppose the lesson to take from this is that heat stroke is no joke. Hiking alone in a hot country during the heat of the day, even for experienced climbers in good physical condition, is a bad plan.
