   @msquebanh what you say is soooo true, and soooo hard to explain to people who are apolitical, they get genuinely confused when you start talking about the white English-speaking countries as though they are not actually democracies and look at you like you are a lunatic for suggesting their country is not a democracy.

   Since 2017, the closet fascists (people who vote Labour/Democrat) are openly hostile to anyone who suggests otherwise. They recognize it as an opinion held by the anti-Clinton anti-Biden leftists, which makes us useful idiots for Trump and Russia, and Hamas sympathizers and terrorists, and "Bernie Bros" who hate women's rights.

     I'm an anarcho-socialist.
     Democracy sounds great on paper. I haven't seen/been part of any true democracy in my entire life. I've been part of pseudo democracy for most of my life - where at least one(or more) of the essential pillars of democracy were destroyed. I've never been able to participate in true democracy because it's impossible with our current 2-party-swinging-same-colonial-doors farce-full election systems. Many folks scream to protect democracy that wasn't actually ever existent.
