   I'm trying to wrap my mind around the notion that a group of people somehow *wouldn't* respond with an horrific violent backlash if you pushed them out of their homes and their land, and then, across the next century, you shoved them into increasingly smaller areas of one's country, violently abused them regularly, and treated them like disposable objects.

   People are going to be upset and probably respond with violence.

   You'd have to be a major asshole to blame those folks for that response.

     I see at least two nations full of assholes right now who seem to thing this sort of thing.

     One small country in the Middle East and most of the government of a larger country who supports the first country.

     Gee. Who might I be talking about?
