   Does anyone know why Debian Unstable is not updating the docker.io packages? I'm out of the loop. Debian has version 20 and upstream has 26. Usually unstable tends to bring the latest software pretty quick.

     @deavid Looks like it is a tricky package to maintain; https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=908868 has several mails about that. It apparently uses containerd which is difficult to build according to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1070411

     @deavid I went to the QA page on https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/docker.io and looked at the open issues. The Debian packaging process is quite transparent, so this information is usually easy to find once you learn where to look.
