     Have to tip my hat to the “Hallway Speech” version of Computer Blue.

     I love the well-known Computer Blue from the Purple Rain album: it covers so much ground in such a short time, one surprise after another, and fits perfectly in the album’s arc. But! Turns out the album version is excerpts from a 12-minute prog-y epic. Whole different piece of music. And it’s awesome.
