"Precision airstrikes" don't exist. We've known this for years, since the original Gulf War, and it was backed up many times during the War on Terror even though the US military and arms manufacturers tried to hide it.
They're not very accurate, they're not easy to target, the targets are rarely vetted beforehand, and shooting missiles at someone always comes with collateral damage -- which is why the US military routinely called civilian casualties "enemy combatants" to cover it up.
