     @0atman @fasterthanlime Looks more like ignorance than some kind of normative statement to me too. But it's ignorance of a type I would have expected from a 2004 article rather than a 2024 one.

     "transexual" would be better "transgender",
     "perceived" is a strange word to qualify it with. Just say "their gender" 👌
