   I knew two guys who were stationed there. One got killed by an IED working a check point. The other got gulf war syndrome and when he woke up his leg was amputated.

     i remember when i was in middle school we had a substitute teacher once and she was a gulf war vet and one of the guys didnt stand up for the pledge and she got mad at him and was like "i went to war hoping u wouldnt have too" im sure she said more but that part stuck with me cause like really the gulf war? thats what u thought was gonna be the last war the gulf war i mean like i could understand a guy who fought in ww2 saying that but like the gulf war???
