     @Evv1L @hughsie >He has ball slots that fit DIP chip balls, meaning he can swap out ROM chips containing firmware.
     It's EFI now, but even BIOS's since 20+ years ago have almost all been software, due to how such is generally stored on electronically re-writable EEPROM SPI flash chips.
