  being over 29 makes Tinder difficult.
  
  The lifetime subscriptions are bad because although they are cost-effective, you get the most attention from the algo when you are a new account.
  
  I’ve taken to deleting my accounts every couple of months so I can always be “new”

  I used to get a few monthly matches years ago, but wound up cancelling my subscription to Tinder because I stopped getting matches. I'm wondering if it's because I'm almost 40 now and might be automatically filtered out based on age.
  
  Or it could be because I entered my height into Tinder and that is being filtered out. Women kept asking me my height (5'5) and telling me I was too short, so I filled in my height in hopes of getting matches who didn't care, so I wound up getting no matches at all. That's possible too.
  
  Except that I have a lifetime subscription to Bumble but still get no matches, even though my height was filled in on Bumble back when I did get matches :ablobsigh:

  On the apps, being under 6’ tall is worse for a man than obesity is for a woman
  
  Almost all women filter out men below a certain height, and women who routinely get a lot of matches will filter everyone below 6’ at least
