Someone should tell Krogers/Ralph's that the answer to being sued in California over a slice of bread is to close all California stores. Let the homeless thieves and whiny effeminate yuppies starve all the same.
It should be illegal to ship food to California anyway.

@11112011 @MisterRogersSnapped Iono what the deal is with the lawsuit, but this state is mostly rural and exporting produce and dairy to the rest of the country, so if he wants any strawberries (biggest supplier, and only supplier most of the year) or cheese (that's right) or citrus (unlike Florida, we *never* have a bad year) or avocados (of course), he's not gonna want to shut that down. Maybe go back to canning vegetables for the winter. And unless they start building chip fabs in the US again, every electronic device in everyone's house came through either the Port of LA or the Port of Long Beach, the two busiest container ports in the country, both of which happen to be adjacent.
Very few states could be self-sufficient if suddenly every state dropped an iron curtain, California is one.
