   Congress is tied up in hearings about stupid shit. Meanwhile #max raised its fuckin' prices AGAIN!! Can we get some regulation here? Ad-supported content should cost NOTHING. The government should enforce this and stop these vultures from double-dipping. 😐

     I agree with that strategy, but they purposely space out good shows so you can never cancel. They could at least make it easier to turn on and off for the month. 🤔

     Well, here's my counterattack: when I have a lot to watch on one or two of them, I don't need the others at all. 😬

     Right, but then you don't get to be a part of the conversation, which is what they're counting on. They get their money from people who don't want to wait. Then as soon as HOTD ends, they start something like 'Last of Us' up to keep people on the service teet.

     @jacklaridian It does require some effort, but for example I am really interested in House of dragons, s.2. But I will wait till they all drop. Then I will subscribe to Max again (and ad-free) for one month and binge them all. I don't really have to subscribe to Max every month, let alone ad-free. It seems to me the streaming service games backfire. Tip: Use a single use credit card. That will avoid renewal accidents.😃
