   on the hunt trying to figure out a film i watched a while back, pretty sure its 80s (maybe late 70s), it takes place over one night in a giant rock club venue thats filling up for this huge chaotic party likely new years.

   not Phantom of the Paradise. more rock, less glam rock. Not so popular, definitely cult film if anything.

   Focus of the story is specifically about the party, its heedy, a lot of stuff at least early on about different bands trying to get there but from the inside of the venue as things are kicking off.
