In two letters posted to X on Friday, Jim Jordan, the chair of House Judiciary Committee, invited Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, as well as senior counsel Matthew Colangelo, to speak before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government on June 13.
The move is not a subpoena, and thus carries no legal weight or compulsion for Bragg or Colangelo to attend.
The move is blatantly for political and not legal purposes, which isn’t surprising from Jordan, who went to law school and then never even took the bar exam.
