my pride advice for anyone transitioning who is buying jewelry for your new gender for the first time is to figure out what necklace length works for you by draping a measuring tape around your neck and looking in the mirror to see where different lengths hang. do it wearing multiple necklines.

i make nearly all my necklaces in 24 inches because that tends to be the most flattering on the most people. most jewelry companies really emphasize 18 inch necklaces, which don't actually work on a ton of people

if you don't have a measuring tape you can use a shoelace or string or something and measure it with a regular measuring tape or ruler or whatever you have after you figure out where you want it to hang

as far as styling is concerned basically everyone is going to give you contradictory advice so start with what speaks to you, not what someone tells you that you should want
