        Help A Disabled Man Get Through His Disability Leave
        This is a continuation of the fundraiser I have been holding for the past few months in order to raise survival and expense/bill funds for me to rely on while I await final resolution of my appeals to restore my disability payments that were inexplicably discontinued in January without consultation of my personal doctor. I continue to suffer from a medical condition that causes chronic dizziness and vertigo to the point of fainting spells whenever I physically or mentally overstress myself; because of it, I had to step down in January of 2023 from my job of 20 years. I had relied on first sick and short-term disability leave from my former employer, then long-term disability payments from the insurance company connected to my employer for paying my essential bills. In January of this year, however, the insurance company declared that in their analysis, I had recovered enough to seek employment again, and discontinued the payments. I have appealed their decision, and is awaiting their final ruling. I am also applying for Federal/State disability benefits; that is also under review with a decision forthcoming. Until either case is resolved, I have no income for with to pay any expenses or bills; and crowdfunding has been my sole resource for survival funds. The ultimate goal remains the same as in previous months: $2,000 in total to pay for basic critical expenses such as rent, utilities, food, and other basic needs, plus allotments for contingencies such as doctor appointments, surprise bills, and other emergencies. As always, I appreciate and thank everyone for donating, for spreading the word about my condition and my need for survival funds, and for simply having the empathy for my current condition. I sincerely hope that you can find it in your heart to continue to support me through this difficult situation. Thank you all.

      Thanks again for doing this for us.

      Currently hoping to raise $250 right now, with an ultimate final goal of $2,000 by 6/30, for funds to pay bills, rent, utilities, and purchase food.

      Waiting on approval for SSDI/SSI; disabled and unable to seek work due to medical condition, but insurance company cut off benefits in January.
