   @axios If they were good lawyers they would have been outlining the appeal strategy months ago. When you know your client is guilty, and won't do a plea bargain, winning on a technicality of an appeal might be the only option.

     Within hours of Trump's conviction, his legal team began outlining its appeal strategy.

     The process will take several months, making it very unlikely to conclude before November. Experts say that it'll be an uphill battle.
