   @DanielRThomas @emilymbender I imagine it's going to be a very hard thing to study, but I'd be very interested in seeing a historical perspective on how this has differed over the years through various AI summers and winters.

     @emilymbender That is a good question. I certainly know a few people who complain their papers get rejected for not using AI in their methods (using effective, efficient, and explainable methods).
