   For federal office like president? Likely no. States aren't allowed to add qualifications not in the Constitution. And being convicted of a crime is not one of them. Eugene Debs & Lyndon LaRouche have run for President while imprisoned.

     Can a candidate for public office be removed from a state's ballot due to a felony conviction? Asking for somebody who is decidedly not a friend.
